Our process ensures you get the best online opportunities for your business.

STEP 1

Planning

We start by getting to know your business and what you want your website to do for you.

This includes:

Your goals, and what action you want visitors to take (enquire, book, call)
Your domain name, whether you already have one or need one set up
How your email is currently managed
Any legal pages your industry requires, such as privacy policies or disclaimers

If you’re moving from another platform (Wix, Squarespace, or similar), your existing content can be reused as a starting point, but the website itself is rebuilt from scratch in WordPress. Platforms aren’t technically compatible with each other.

Nothing here needs prior knowledge of websites, we’ll guide you through each decision as it comes up.

Keyword Research and SEO

Keyword research is standard on every website we build. It identifies the exact words your customers use when looking for a business like yours, and gives whoever writes your content, you or a professional writer, a clear foundation to work from.

Every website we build also follows technical SEO standards: mobile-friendly and structured so search engines can read it properly.

Content

Using the keyword research, you can write your own content, many clients choose to. For websites where SEO is a priority, we can coordinate a professional content writer instead, someone who understands the technical side: meta data, title tags, and how to structure copy for search. The right approach depends on your business, goals and budget.

We’ll also confirm your imagery: whether you have your own photos, need licensed stock images, or want to engage a professional photographer.

Website design

This is where we create the look and feel of your website: structure, visual style, layout, and how each page connects to the next. If you already have a brand kit (logo, colours, fonts), we design around it. If not, we’ll talk through your branding needs first.

Website development

Once the design is confirmed, we move into building the structure and functionality of your new website.

Website launch

When your site is ready, we move it to our Australian hosting. From there, it’s covered by our ongoing website hosting, care and maintenance services.

After launch

We handle the technical follow-up: search engine submissions, backup and security setup, and monitoring for indexing issues. If you’re running SEO or ad campaigns with another provider, we’ll supply them with Google Webmaster Tools access.
